A player from Grand Stand, South Carolina recently came forward to claim a prize of $200,000 that he won playing the Palmetto Cash 5 lottery game. The man, who chose to remain anonymous purchased his winning ticket from the Circle K at 2591 Glenns Bay Road in Surfside Beach. Even after checking his ticket several times, he still had someone read the winning numbers back to him. 

The winning numbers for the drawing, which was held on December 12, were 7, 16, 23, 24 and 35. When he was asked what he was going to do with his winnings, he replied, “I’m not sure yet.”

This is a five-number lottery game. Each play costs $2. The game has four ways to win prizes between $2 and the jackpot. The jackpot starts at $100,000 and increases by at least $10,000 each day until it’s won. The game has built-in multipliers with all non-jackpot prizes being multiplied randomly by X2, X3, X5, or X10. Drawings are held every day at 6:59 p.m. and you can watch them on your local TV station. 

To play Palmetto Cash 5, you must select five numbers between 1 and 42.
